Daniel & Melanie Ives established Popty Cara in 1993. We supply the Wholesale, Retail and local markets.

 All the cakes are individually handmade and are cooked fresh to order (no stocks are held, at all).  

Ralph's Cider Cake

Ralph's Cider Cake is made with The award winning Ralph's Dry Cider which varies between 7-8 % ABV

Home Made Bara Brith

Delicious served Sliced, Buttered, Toasted or with Cheese.

Home Made Welsh Cakes.

Served with Butter, Jam or Cheese.

Black Sticky Gingerbread

This dark sticky Gingerbread is very moist so it can be eaten on its own.

 It can also be sliced and buttered, or warmed and served as a pudding with Cream, Ice cream or Custard.

It has also been eaten with Goats Cheese.

No Added Sugar Fruit Cake

Suitable for diabetics or those on a low-calorie diet.
